So the Chemistry Is Right.
A state-of-the-art lab is the true heart of CCT. Here, qualified chemists work to create the foundation for innovative, intelligent solutions for new coating technologies. Naturally, the work is carried out with a great deal of expertise and technical know-how, but also with plenty of passion and dedication. Functional coating systems place very high demands on the quality and performance of the electrolytes used. Extremely fast layer build-up of up to 10 μm/min must always be possible together with properties such as ductility, gloss, hardness, and smoothness. To meet these very specific and demanding requirements, our developers have been working since the company's founding on proprietary high-performance processes, tailored to the demanding needs of industrial customers.
Only the most modern laboratory methods and equipment are used. Collaboration with the industry's most renowned institutes complements our own know-how for optimal research results. Regular participation in and leadership of national and international research projects keeps our development team ready for the challenges our customers face.

Cross-Disciplinary Know-How
Functional coatings are a cross-disciplinary technology spanning chemistry, materials science, tribology, and metallography. This complex field still offers untapped possibilities for developing customized coating solutions, but also requires knowledge and understanding of the various specialist areas.
CCT has an experienced team of chemists, materials experts, and practice-oriented coating specialists, some with decades of experience in their respective fields.
In internal and external projects, we work together with our partners to develop application-specific coatings for tribological applications. Our customers come from a variety of industry sectors, including automotive technology, textile and printing machinery, tool and machine manufacturing, and energy technology.
The coatings we develop can either be marketed using CCT GmbH as a contract coater, or transferred to the client through a know-how transfer, including the plant technology.
