Custom Coating
Just as the phrase "form follows function" became a design principle worldwide, functional coating must also follow the same criteria. Only through appropriate coating do refined components fulfill their full function. This makes clear the significance of the coating process, and thus also that it is a highly qualified process.
Functional coatings are a cross-disciplinary technology spanning chemistry, materials science, and tribology. This complex field still offers untapped possibilities for developing customized coating solutions, but also requires knowledge and understanding of the various specialist areas.
CCT has an experienced team of chemists, materials experts, and practice-oriented coating specialists, some with decades of experience in their respective fields.

The coatings we develop can either be marketed using CCT GmbH as a contract coater, or transferred to the client through a know-how transfer, including the plant technology.
The successful implementation of joint projects requires trustworthy handling of sensitive information, which is why no details on customer-related development projects can be disclosed here. This can only succeed if equally highly qualified coating technology specialists develop the process and carry it out – as the basis for optimal results in all applications.
The processes used in our coating department represent the highest level of development in functional coating technology. The focus of the coating processes in use is on dispersion layers based on state-of-the-art chemical nickel and electrolytic nickel systems.
Alloy depositions with tungsten, iron, cobalt, gold, or silver form the combination with high-quality particles of diamond, boron carbide, boron nitride, and silicon carbide – the area where coating systems become highly individually tailored “designer layers.”
