A state-of-the-art laboratory is the heart of CCT. There, qualified chemists create the foundation for innovative and intelligent solutions for the latest coating technologies. Of course, our professionals work with a high level of expertise and technical know-how, but also with passion and dedication. Functional coating systems require the use of very high-quality and high-performing electrolytes. Coatings need to be constructed extremely quickly, at up to 10 μm/min, while ensuring characteristics such as ductility, gloss level, hardness and smoothness. To fulfil these high and highly specialised requirements, our developers have been working on proprietary, high-performance systems since the company was founded, tailored to specific applications for the most sophisticated industrial customers.
We only use the latest laboratory methods and equipment. We supplement our in-house expertise with by collaborating with the biggest institutions in the industry, for optimal research results. Regularly taking part in and leading national and international research projects keeps our team of developers ready to handle our customers needs.
DEVELOPMENT
Functional coatings are an interdisciplinary technology from the fields of chemistry, material science, tribology, and metallography. This complex, specialised area offers untold opportunities for developing custom-tailored coating solutions, but requires expertise in and an understanding of the different technical fields.
CCT offers an experienced team of chemists, materials experts, and practical coating specialists, some of whom have decades of experience in their respective fields.
We work alongside our partners to develop application-specific coatings for tribological applications in internal and external projects. Our customers come from many different industrial sectors; such as automotive technology, textile and printing machinery, tool and machine building, and energy technology.
The coatings we develop can either be marketed by contract coating companies using the CCT GmbH name, or can be transferred to the client as part of a knowledge transfer, alongside the system technology.
